Research and Product Development
SmartMotor is strongly committed to driving innovations within our core area of expertise and is consequently involved in a large number of research and product development activities. 20% of our resource capacity is thus allocated to research programs and building IPR. Further, SmartMotor has been approved as a research and development partner by the Norwegian Research Council.

Engineering
SmartMotor offers customised design and engineering, enabled by our proprietary and standardised design tools and processes. Our key areas of expertise lie in the fields of mechanical, electromagnetic and thermal design and specifications, loss validations and system designs and simulations.

Manufacturing
Our in-house production facility workshop is deployed for prototype verification and small series production and assembly.  For larger series we utilise our global network of manufacturing partners who are located mainly in Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia.

Sales & Service
SmartMotor provides its customers with the service and maintenance of produced or licensed products. Emphasis is also placed on providing a constant feedback loop to our engineering team, thus ensuring customer feedback to our engineering processes.
