All SmartMotor products and applications enabled by our technology platform are carefully protected by our numerous patents and filed applications. Our patents range from core electrical machine features and designs to the application specific features of the products we offer.

Since we comprise one of Europe’s largest, most innovative environments focused on PM technology, we experience large numbers of innovations subject to IPR value that are derived from customer, in-house and research and product development related processes.

To ensure optimised value capture we have systematically introduced a gated process institutionalising secured IPR Capture.
