SmartTool is a calculation tool developed solely by SmartMotor AS. It employs a Matlab platform, a large number of analytic functions and the patented, compact SmartMotor machine design to estimate the parameters for new suggested machines.

Using analytic formulas for calculation is extremely fast and enables optimisation within seconds. The tool will very effectively show different machine design options and how each design relates to size, cost, efficiency, power and torque.

Results from SmartTool are written to Excel, so the documentation and comparison of multiple machines is an easy process. This also aids quality assurance as the input parameters for the specific machines are shown. The most promising machines can easily be modelled by using FE analysis.
